eResources - Download & Stream

Access library eResources on your device or PC/laptop, with your library card.  eResource digital media includes: eBooks, eAudiobooks, downloadable and streaming music, TV shows, comics, movies, and eMagazines.  Please note, some digital media is only accessible to Largo Public Library holders.  If you are on a PC/laptop, click on the title to access the website version of the eResource.

Libby App
  • Access with your Pinellas Public Library Cooperative card: 
    • eBooks
    • eAudiobooks
    • eMagazines
  • Download the Libby app to your device to read eBooks or eMagazines, or listen to eAudiobooks. 
    • Install the Libby app instead!  Now, you can download the app to your Kindle Fire tablet
  • Up to 10 item loans per card, and up to 7 holds.
  • Borrow as many eMagazine issues as you'd like; does not factor into your 10 borrows.

Find device specific support:
  • Libby Help includes tips for getting started and troubleshooting.  
  • within the Libby app on your device or on the browser-version site, through the Libby icon (bottom, center 3 lines) you can contact technical support.
  • Vendor help site and access to PPLC content for eReader devices.

Through the hoopla app or your PC, access over 900,000 titles:
  • TV shows
  • eBooks
  • Comics
  • Movies
  • Music
  • eAudiobooks
Borrow up to 5 items per month.  
  • If your library card number changed, go to "Settings" in the hoopla app & you can update your card number.

Within an item if you need technical support: 
  • select "let us know" or "Problem?" button at the bottom of the item information to reach hoopla tech support or
  • contact: feedback@hoopladigital.com  or
  • use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the hoopla help site.   
    • The help site also includes troubleshooting tips for different devices.
Trouble logging in?  Try resetting your password.
  • Click on "forgot your password" & follow the instructions in the email you receive with your temporary password.  
  • Make sure your library account is up to date!  They expire every few years.  
Can't borrow an item?  Make sure your settings match your PPLC library card. 
  • Under Settings choose "Library" and make sure you selected Largo Library if you have a LPL card.  
    • Look at the top of your library card, above the number. Choose the right library from the list that matches your card.
