COMING SOON! Largo Seed Library

Seed Library
The Seed Library at Largo Public Library provides free vegetable, herb, and flower seeds to all members of the community in an effort to expand access to homegrown food and provide support for our local pollinators. We offer a rotating variety of seeds depending on the season and what patrons are interested in growing. Check our catalog for a current list of what seeds we have available.
  • Seed packets are limited to 3 per household per week.
  • Seed packets cannot be reserved and are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Seed packets must be checked out with a staff member at the library’s circulation desk. You can check out seed packets without a library card, but you must first speak with staff at the circulation desk.
  • Seed packets do not have a due date. There is nothing you need to return to the library, but we encourage you to post pictures of anything you grow with the hashtag #LPLSEED.
Keep an eye out for gardening events at the library by checking our event calendar!
At this time the Seed Library can only accept donations of seeds that are in their original packaging and unopened.
