English Language Learning
The English Language Learning program at Largo Public Library is a free public service for adult students who want to learn English and improve their language skills.
- The library has a wide collection of English language resources, including books, CDs, DVDs and multimedia language kits.
- Study rooms are available for classes and tutoring sessions.

One-to-One Tutoring Classes
Classes are taught by volunteer tutors who have completed a training course in ESL teaching techniques.
As of June 15, 2023 ELL student applications are not being accepted. We will begin accepting applications again on November 1, 2023

Conversation Club

- Thursdays 3:45PM - 5:15PM
- No registration or waitlist
- You can attend either or both days
- Different leaders and topics each day
Adult English Classes
In collaboration with Pinellas County Schools, this program will help adults speak, write, and read English in a classroom setting.
- Registration is required and is continuous throughout the semester
- There is a $45 fee for each six-month term of enrollment

Citizenship and Naturalization Preparation Classes

- We can help! We will prepare you for the naturalization process with instruction in Civics & U.S. History and practice for the Citizenship Interview.
